Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Project Engineer based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
Manage the engineering concept, design, release, and follow up development activities to ensure that the project engineering outputs meet the quality, reliability, performance, and cost expectations of the customer.
Develop and manage the engineering plan and schedule of projects while supporting HYG Law and Risk Management Activities.
Manage engineering staff and activities required to support with the Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, and Aftermarket groups engaged in the project.
Be a leader in identifying VIP opportunities for warehouse products and implementing improved processes for product innovation, reliability and cost, development efficiency, customer responsiveness, and overall quality of work.

Strong communicator with the ability to effectively manage projects and meet scheduled deadlines.
Collaborative individual who will monitor compliance and ensure industry code and practices are adhered to.
Lead with curiosity and effectively oversee team's performance, training, and continued development.
Innovative and creative mindset to help identify and suggest improved development processes.
What you will need:
BS degree in Engineering
Minimum 8-10 years of experience with design engineering, team leadership and project management.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Significant experience in the fields of design and manufacturing.
Significant training and experience in project management.
Broad knowledge of global codes and regulations, and standards.
