Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Vehicle Validation Engineer based at our Greenville, NC Manufacturing Site.
What you will do:
Provides support to New Product Introduction truck builds.
Performs testing and validation of lift trucks and systems.
Conducts competitive benchmarking evaluations
Support / execute development testing to ensure design robustness to requirements.
Performs data acquisition and data analysis on truck performance.
Performs tests and compiles results into formal and informal test reports.
Performs minor mechanical maintenance on fleet trucks
Provides technical directions to test drivers.

What you will need:
B.S. degree in Engineering preferred.
0 - 3 Years experience (with 4-year degree)
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering theory. Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to suggest design improvements. Ability to communicate at all levels.
Experience of working in a team environment
Basic knowledge / skills in vehicle/automotive technology, test practices and procedures
