Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Government Furnished Property (GFP). Ensuring all items are tracked in the company's system of record in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other regulations throughout various contracts. Responsible in supporting the development, implementation, and improvement of processes to ensure property accountability and compliance with government property management regulations.


  • Oversees the management of government-owned property system, including acquisition, tracking, and disposition.


  • Develops and maintains property management processes and procedures.


  • Ensure compliance with all government property regulations and requirements.


  • Coordinates with government agencies and internal teams to ensure proper acquisition and transfer of property.


  • Conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of property records. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to government property.


  • Stays updated on changes in government property regulations and make necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.


  • Communicates with clients and government agencies regarding property management activities.


  • Participates in meetings and discussions to provide expertise and recommendations on government property management.


  • Identifies gaps between written procedures and staff execution; helps with and may lead process re-design and coordination of remediation efforts. Develops best practices and provides expert consultation and advice regarding contract policy and procedures, resolution of contract issues and administration of contract documents.


  • Trains and mentors team members on government property management processes and regulations.


  • All other duties as assigned.



Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

7+ years of government property management experience.

Possess a strong understanding of government property regulations and have excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to establish strong business partnerships and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability in communication/facilitation and consultation.

Ability to interact and communicate with different levels of leadership including executive leadership.

Ability to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels (including at the executive level), functions, businesses, and geographies.

Experience leading multiple enterprise level initiatives simultaneously.

In-depth understanding of commercial business terminology and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, DFARS) and how the business terms and regulations relate to property administration.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
