About the Role

Essity is looking to hire an Industrial Electrician at our manufacturing site in Neenah, WI. This is a world class facility where you will have the opportunity to have a career within a global organization. The Industrial Electrician is responsible for defined maintenance activities in the production site. The role maintains the machines based on preventive and predictive maintenance concept. It is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems and solving these problems using the Daily Direction Setting approach & Root Cause Analysis. The technician supports and coaches the Operators / Colleagues in handling technical issues in the Resource Support Teams/Asset Teams.

New employees within our maintenance team can start off with an hourly rate of $36.94 – 41.78 per hour and will be eligible for benefits on day one.

Training of new employees will start on an 8-hour Monday – Friday shift. This role may require you to work a rotating shift that will occasionally require working on weekends. Working on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate and working on Sunday is paid at 2 times your hourly rate.

What You Will Do

• Respond to critical requests for support site-wide and in specific areas.


• Gain "Center of Excellence" knowledge on specific technologies in our facility and share that knowledge with others as needed.


• Perform troubleshooting on site using Ethernet and logic controls interface tools.


• Identify improvement ability for critical instrumentation.


• Support and troubleshoot operating motors, drives, and other logic-controlled variable effort equipment.


• Support and lead capital project teams when necessary.


• Develop and Mentor apprentices in specific trade areas.

Who You Are

• Must be Journeyman Industrial Electrician or E/I Technician with State Indentured apprenticeship and work experience applying those skills in a manufacturing setting.


• Good ability to work within small and/or large teams.


• Have a curious mindset and desire to learn new skills.


• Possess strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
