View Point Health's GRAN Recovery Center is a 28-day Intensive Residential Addiction treatment program. With an emphasis on maintaining a positive therapeutic community, treatment interventions focus on promoting abstinence from substance use, shifting from addictive behaviors and effecting change in the individuals' lifestyle, attitudes, and values.

We are looking for a Residential Care Provider (Supervisor) to join our multi-disciplinary team to monitor general client activity, observe and report behaviors of adult clients with a substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health in an intensive residential treatment facility. The position requires flexibility in job tasks and scheduling to accommodate needs of the facility to include some weekend and evening coverage.


Duties & Responsibilities:
· Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of direct reports.
· Responsible for day-to-day operations of the RCP team and ensuring excellent care is provided to all clients.
· Responsible for scheduling and assignment of Direct Care Staff to maintain and plan for ratio/acuity adjustments as well as census.

· Responsible for PDA (Progressive, Disciplinary Actions) including ongoing Monitoring and Tracking of Performance. Provide Semi-annual as well as Annual Performance Reviews to include time/punctuality, Quality Standards/Audit Results, PDA's (including coaching), areas of strengths as well as ways to improve.
· Assist with implementing a positive work environment to include addressing gossip and slander while promoting professionalism and care for the client. Provide Positive Job Coaching to staff as needed.
· Assist Leadership team with reviewing and revising protocols/processes/procedures.
· Ensure all policies and standards are followed and implemented.
· Responsible for New Hire Orientation of all new hires
· Create timely written documentation of all issues address with staff including informal coaching/ document Employee Conduct
· Assists with coverage on-call for one week per month as part of the Leadership Team. Required to answer the phone when on-call and may be required to come on site for concerns/problems.
· Facilitate monthly Direct Care Lead meetings as well as Direct Care Discipline meetings and documents meeting Agenda and Minutes. Keep in Binder for Annual Audit.
· Ensures all unit supplies are consistently stocked on the unit.
· Complete performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when required.
· Makes the monthly RCP schedule and manages call outs and staffing issues.
· Complete interviews and hiring of new staff, including orienting and training new nurses.
· any additional duties assigned.
· Monitors general client activity to observe and report behavior/progress of adult clients.
· Maintains awareness of client behavior and physical whereabouts to ensure their safety during dining, showering, or other activities.
· Observes and becomes familiar with each client's behavior and diagnosis.
· Monitors clients for detection of any behavior which could be injurious to self or others, or which is so unusual or atypical that immediate attention of professional staff is warranted.
· When necessary for the physical safety of the client, use the least restrictive, agency-approved behavioral or physical intervention technique appropriate for the situation.
· Secures assistance from and/or helps other staff in handling acute behavioral crisis situations.
· Assists with admissions to include searching all clients to ensure no harmful items are brought into Detox unit.
· Maintains the residence and building in a clean and organized condition to assure a safe, secure, and attractive environment for residents and staff. This may include removal of trash or debris from living/ recreational areas, cleanup after meals, wiping surfaces, etc.
· Assists with discharge of clients to ensure all items are collected and given to the client at discharge.
· Provides support to each resident in maintaining his/her personal living space in a clean and orderly manner.
· Assists with visitation for clients.
· Records clearly, concisely, and accurately all client care data and other documentation in medical records and other program records according to agency policy and applicable standards of care
· Assists as back-up to kitchen staff and in preparing meals for clients.
· Participates in change of shift meetings, treatment team meetings, staffing, and other sessions to provide the information about each resident necessary for implementation of an appropriate, individualized treatment plan.
· Assists monthly in gathering customer service surveys.
· Assists with psychoeducational groups and activities for clients throughout the day as needed.
· Completes other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting, which includes one (1) year experience as a lead worker, team lead, or supervisory role; or One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Client Support Worker 3 (SSS012) or equivalent position.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior leadership experience from a supervisory role.
· Is FRIENDLY, KIND, and POSITIVE. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; enjoys working w/ others; is flexible, quick to adapt to changing, fast-paced environment.
· MUST HAVE great organization, time-management & documentation skills.


Requirements/Competencies:

Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
Requires long periods of sitting/standing.
Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.
Any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
