Your Role

The Operator Technician role is a member of the operations team and will perform a variety of mechanical and administrative duties. The role will primarily perform electrical and mechanical assembly of company products.



    • Two-year technical degree (preferred) with 5+ years mechanical assembly/related experience.
    • Soldering/de-soldering experience.
    • Ability to read and understand mechanical, flow and electrical wiring diagrams.
    • Ability to operate electric and mechanical hand tools i.e. Screwdrivers, open end wrenches, nut drivers and socket wrenches, wire crimping.
    • Ability to operate bench top test equipment i.e. multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
    • Good working knowledge of PC computers and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Tube bending from 1/8" to 1/2" tubing preferred.

      • Select and maintain setups.
      • Use jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
      • Assemble and wire sub-assemblies.
      • Assemble products including light electrical & mechanical components and soldering.
      • Perform full functional test and calibration on products.
      • Complete required paper work.
      • Label and properly handle nonconforming products.
      • Submit engineering change request as required.
      • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

      Education & Experience:



    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuitry.
    • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
