Position Purpose Operate, repair, and perform maintenance on boilers and support equipment. Under the direction of the Water Services Supervisor, oversee and perform general and specialized work in the installation, adjustment, maintenance, and servicing of open and close water systems, pools, spas, and fountains.
Education & Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Education & Formal Training Completion of related trade school or related military experience may substitute for experience on a 1 year for 1 year basis.
Experience Four (4) years experience as a seasoned tradesperson in the operation and maintenance of boilers in a commercial or industrial setting, including one year experience in the maintenance and repair of plumbing and/or water treatment systems.
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position:
Driver's license, Missouri license required

Other Special Working Conditions Incumbent is subject to 24-hour call-in due to emergencies. Occasional overtime requirements. Incumbent may be required to supervise employees on special projects, as assigned. Incumbent rotates weekend work assignments with others in section, as scheduled.
Ability to Keyboard No keyboarding test required.
Other Special Qualifications Backflow testing certification required within the probationary period. CPO certification required within one year of date of hire.
