We are presently seeking Vice President to lead our IT CRM team to enhancement, maintain and support best in class systems including Salesforce and HubSpot. Reporting to IT Head of Corporate Applications, this position provides technical and functional guidance, make recommendations to CRM team members and management regarding application development projects, enhancements, incidents/issues, and inbound/outbound interfaces. They are responsible for full life cycle activities including project management, analysis, design, development, test, go-live (deployment) and post go live support required for implementing application related projects, enhancements, incidents/issues, and inbound/outbound interfaces to systems. The position will facilitate daily stand-up meetings, weekly status meetings with the team and members of the business, drive requirements collection and prototype demonstrations, with user community and team members. The person needs to demonstrate communication experience with the user community for implementing solutions and maintaining the production system. The position is a highly visible role and a key member of the ISS Information Technology team as Salesforce is a mission critical application supporting sales, client services, marketing, finance, and operation teams ensuring delivery of ISS’s products and services. As this role is customer-facing, the candidate filling this position must be able to communicate well with co-workers and business teams. Quality is key, as well as the ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations and project initiatives of the Salesforce development team, from inception to successful delivery.
  • Gather and analyze user requirements and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other technologies.
  • Ensure daily production activities, data maintenance, cleansing, and verification in Salesforce.com and HubSpot systems.
  • Independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve cases within established Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure Software Development Lifecycle and ITIL methodologies, including configuration, problem, change, and release management, are adhered to and drive process enhancements.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new processes and system enhancements.
  • Assist in the testing, deployment, and post-launch support of new functionality and ensure business needs are met and delivered in accordance with business specifications.
  • Communicate with other ISS teams regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
  • Leverage industry development best practices, frameworks, and methods.
  • Possess a sense of urgency with a real focus on delivery dates and project completion.
  • Review and update SQL/SOQL/Apex scripts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in an IT organization.
  • 4+ years of full-lifecycle software development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce.com (Customization, Administration, Apex, and Visualforce pages).
  • Project management experience, PMP and Scrum Master preferred.
  • Experience with SQL or SOQL.
  • Experience with basic Excel data analysis (Formulas, Pivot tables, LOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Experience with any JavaScript framework, such as LWC, jQuery, etc.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and business processes rapidly with the enthusiasm to drive new initiatives and projects forward.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and integrate new development languages to support new projects and requirements, to understand data structure, and translate business requirements.
  • Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills.
  • Able to remain calm and focused in a highly pressurized and time-oriented environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team.

This role is only being recruited in New York City.

Base Salary: The New York City expected base pay range is $110,000 - $140,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.

This role is bonus eligible.
