Infosys is seeking a Network Engineer in areas of Wireless technologies (Cisco and Aruba). The Engineer is challenged for supporting various offices in California for Wireless, Routing, Switching and WAN issues in close collaboration with other infrastructure administrators, engineering teams and subject matter experts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Field Service support and engineering for the network running thousands of network devices including Wireless Access Points, Routers, Switches and various network devices in offices and Datacenters.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of El Dorado Hills, CA or Long Beach, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of experience of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of networking experience e.g. Cisco, Aruba, Silver Peak.
• Customer-focused professional who handles Aruba and Cisco wireless services and technology.
• Implementation, management, and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba access points and wireless controllers.
• Hands on experience in 802.11 b/g/n/ac, AP troubleshooting, and mitigating throughput issues.
• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba wireless infrastructure.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage network infrastructure in campus networks using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco Catalyst Wireless Access Points and Controllers, and Aruba Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
• Experience working with large-scale network environments, including LAN, WAN, Datacenter networks, and remote access networks.
• Experience in redundancy with HSRP and ether channel technology (LACP).
• Experience in network monitoring and configuration management software like SolarWinds.
• Possesses hands-on expertise in troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues, reporting the environment, and handling host-related issues quickly.
• Managed network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
• Always provided clear and concise documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all work-related documentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Availability to work outside of traditional office hours.
• Advance knowledge and understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, and hands-on experience implementing these technologies.
• Experience in the configuration and deployment of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) over Cisco products in a production environment.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and manage Internet connectivity in cloud platforms, datacenters, and branch offices, focusing on redundant high-performance routing (BGP) and edge security solutions like CDN, IDS, and IPS.
• Manage the network monitoring platform using SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and Splunk, collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance, and collaborate with internal audit to ensure network security and compliance requirements are being met and recorded in appropriate places.
• Create and maintain SOP documents on daily operations and the RCA of priority incidents.
• Understanding of DDI technologies from any vendor, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Follow through on commitments to end users and coworkers.
• Demonstrate values of honesty and continual improvement.
• Must be vigilant about identifying common workplace safety hazards such as unsecured cables and practice good housekeeping.
