Job Summary

Responsible for supervision of Accounts Payable staff. Supervises the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing and Taxes. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. In conjunction with Manager, will establish priorities and goals for team. Coordinates and supervises daily activities of team. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent.

Core Responsibilities


  • Supervises staffing, training and performance evaluations to optimize performance.

  • Tracks and communicates performance of Accounting Clerks. Provides accounting statistics to assist managers in formulating policies to improve services.

  • Performs daily and weekly balancing of cash. Maintains document retention files for all departments.

  • Coordinates new vendor setup. Prepares accounts receivable report(s) detailing all past dues and balancing general ledger to accounts receivables.

  • Makes inventory adjustments and supervises projects to meet deadlines.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Oversee International Invoicing processes in various countries and currencies

  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external business partners, resolve issues as they arise related to the daily invoicing process.

  • Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and automation related to supplier invoicing methods and new utility account creation

  • Ability to evaluate team performance and set goals via review of KPI metrics.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
