Warehouse Supervisor at Schneider Electric USA, Inc

Job Description:

What will you do?


  • Identifying/updating work procedures; prepare work schedules and expedite workflow

  • Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers

  • Identify, drive, and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the group

  • Analyzing and evaluating problems with inventory, delivery, and/or sales orders. Providing periodic reports and updates to management.

  • Leads effort in resolution of warehouse barriers

  • Acting as subject matter expert for material providing and handling strategies in support of Schneider Production System.

What qualifications will make you successful?


  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain

  • 1+ years minimum experience directly supervising employees (Ex: conducting annual performance appraisals, issuing discipline, hiring/onboarding new talent, creating and achieving department goals)

  • 3+ year experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain role.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?


  • Prior knowledge/experience with shipping and shipping processes.

  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Access, etc)

  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge and application preferred
