Purpose of the Job: Your role as a Maintenance Mechanic is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of our production facility. By keeping our equipment in top shape and maintaining a safe working environment, you'll play a crucial part in our success.

Job Duties:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will:

• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment.


• Work on support systems for the plant, including boilers and air compressors, to ensure uninterrupted production.


• Maintain detailed maintenance records for reference and analysis.


• Execute precise plant shutdowns and startups according to assigned shifts, contributing to operational efficiency.


• Facilitate smooth equipment changeovers as required.


• Apply welding, brazing, and plasma cutting skills when necessary.


• Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.


• Communicate equipment needs and maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager promptly.


• Identify necessary replacement parts and proactively maintain an inventory of parts in the stockroom.


• Collaborate with fellow mechanics to efficiently address maintenance tasks.


• Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned, providing flexibility and support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.


• Years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience.


• Proficiency in maintenance troubleshooting and knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding, and Rigging.


• The ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and apply fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.


• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations.


• Strong Machine Shop skills.


• Good oral and written communication skills.


• The capacity to work flexible hours as necessary to complete assigned tasks.


• The ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
