Position Type: Full-Time

Expected Base Pay Scale (USD): $120,000 - $145,000 annual base salary.The successful candidates base pay depends on job-related skills, qualifications, experience, geographic location, and market conditions.The expected base pay scale may be adjusted based on market conditions.

As an Advisory PLL Circuit Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing PLL circuits per specified requirements, and directing mask designers to implement circuits using industry standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong PLL design skills and experience in a variety of areas (PFDs, charge pumps, loop filters, VCOs, LDOs, high speed frequency dividers, loop stability analysis, phase noise analysis and mitigation, etc.) using state of the art deep sub-micron technologies.

Requirements of anAdvisory PLL Circuit Design Engineer include a BS or MS (preferred) in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of industry experience in the following areas:

Strong analog and digital circuit design skills applicable to PLLs Experience in layout direction and auditing Strong ability to identify potential PLL performance impacts due to close proximity non-PLL circuitry or signal routingExperience with low phase noise LC VCO designExperience with feedback system analysis using Matlab, Simulink, or PythonExperience with phase noise system analysis using Matlab, Simulink, or PythonExtensive experience with Cadence EDA (Composer/Virtuoso/ADE)Extensive experience with Spectre, SpectreRF, PSS, PNoise circuit analysisStrong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details
Strong ability to identify potential PLL performance impacts due to coupling effects Experience in directing mask designers and auditing layouts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
