GENERAL SUMMARY
The Project Manager reports to a Managing Director or Director and manages, plans, schedules, and performs multiple engineering projects and personnel. In addition, it monitors and tracks project progress, invoicing, and budget and assists with overall project performance and profitability. Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to various projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may have supervisory responsibilities.

  • Develops schedules, budgets, and proposals.

  • Marketing to prospective clients and managing client relationships.

  • Possesses effective management skills toplan, direct, and monitor all aspects of civil engineeringprojects.

  • Concurrently managethe production and coordination of multiple projects.

  • Actindependently on civil engineering matters within the scope of expertise.

  • Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team and consultants.

  • Adheres to company policies and can articulate the company's mission statement to team members and clients.

  • Perform technical analysis and documentation.

  • Initiateand managethe development of design and project drawings.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to execute design concepts.

  • Possessexcellent technical knowledge and management skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Working knowledge and understanding of construction documents and building codes.

  • Strong leadership abilities, adept at meeting deadlines, and delivering superior client service.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and conscientious.

  • Proficient in current versions of Revit Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MS Word, Hydroflow, MS Project, and MS Excel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience.

  • Professional engineering licensure is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a standard office setting, onsite at client locations, and on construction/building sites.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires sufficient physical ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform work in an office setting, which includes extensive employee contact, frequent interruptions, the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods, to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist, to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, to verbally communicate to exchange information, to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation, to verbally communicate to exchange information with or without accommodation, to see in the normal visual range with or without correction, and can hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. This position requires physical mobility on and around construction sites before and after the installation of landscaping, pavement, stairs, elevators, electricity, heating, and air conditioning.
