Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cuts grass, weeds and brush. Mows lawns, rakes grass and trash.


• Sweeps streets, gutters and parking lots.


• Loads and unloads trucks. May occasionally operate a small truck in transporting personnel and materials.


• Moves and carries heavy material and furniture.


• Assists skilled workers in a variety of assignments.


• Assists with building maintenance of all types.


• Change light bulbs on all fixtures at normal ceiling height.


• Comply with OSHA safety standards.


• Ensures all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

 

 

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.


• Physical strength and ability sufficient to perform routine or heavy manual tasks depending on the area of assignment.


• Some experience in routine labor work.


• Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license
