Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine to lead our growing team in Orlando.

Nemours Emergency Medicine is rapidly growing with a projected 42,000 visits this year. Our current PEM staff consists of twelve physicians, including two nocturnists and one weekender. In addition, we have advanced practice providers providing double, triple, and quadruple coverage, with additional support provided by a core group of moonlighters, including advanced practice providers and physicians boarded in pediatrics and various subspecialties.

Nemours Children's Hospital is part of a unique 60-acre health campus, which includes a new ambulatory diagnostic center, research, and educational facilities. This new state-of-the-art, academic, free-standing Children's Hospital aims to set a new standard for patient and family experience in central Florida, with up to 137 inpatient beds and over 250 inpatient beds planned in phase 2. Nemours Emergency Medicine boasts a robust education program which includes a fully accredited Pediatric Residency program, rotating residents from three emergency medicine residency programs, as well as our new PEM Fellowship program which kicked off in July 2023 with 2 promising fellows joining our team.
