Job Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to support and provide back up for the IEEE Corporate Strategy team in all efforts, initiatives, and activities, related to the IEEE Presidents, Committees of the IEEE Board of Directors, and more. This will include providing Committee support, including but not limited to the IEEE New Initiatives Committee, the IEEE Diversity & Inclusion Committee, as well as Ad Hoc Committees and the IEEE Presidents as and when required, as well as develop communications. The position reports to the Director, Corporate Strategy, and functions as an individual contributor. This position works under general supervision and authority. This candidate should be comfortable interacting regularly with top management and senior volunteer leadership, handling confidential information, and navigating complex situations. Also, highly effective communication and writing skills are necessary, a keen eye for details, content creation, and the ability to be self-directed to anticipate what is needed. Travel to support IEEE Meeting Series and other committee meeting is required.
