Infosys is seekingan Oracle Exadata Architect who will be directly working with key customer stakeholders and apply their technical proficiency in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. The candidate will participate in different phases of the consulting lifecycle and will be intensely involved in define the problem, propose, and refine the solution. The candidate will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help client to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of Relevant Information Technology experience


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education


• Candidate may be located Anywhere in the US and must be willing to travel to client location per project needs.

• Experience in highly supporting customer-focused mission critical environments.


• Experience in Supporting very large, mission critical infrastructure globally.


• Extensive experience in various patching approaches of Oracle Engineered systems


• Must have extensive hands on and troubleshooting in cluster ware, Cell storage, IBswitches, Linux Kernel


• Must have experience in managing Oracle Exadata, ZFS, ODA.


• Perform Security and Compliance Testing, Database Hardening, Corporate Audit assist. Compliance to contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements.


• Should have experience in automation tools, shell scripting, Perl scripting, CI / CD tools


• Should have experience in QFSDP patching


• Requires excellent knowledge in tuning Oracle Linux Kernel for optimum throughput in engineering systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in 24x7 in PROD environments.


• Ability to interact at all levels of clients' organizations.


• Self-motivated and competent to work independently in complex environment.

• Should be able to drive customer discussions independently and act as trusted advisor.


• Should be able to work with Offshore team based in India.

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
