The salary range for this position is $119,203 - $149,003 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY

At Kendo we are looking for someone to take charge of the program initiatives supporting our digital/tech roadmap that supports a high growth eCommerce effort. The Sr Project Manager, Digital has a critical role and voice as we lead transformative initiatives aimed at creating a best-in-class consumer experience.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Sr Project Manager who will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business operations and project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This position involves close collaboration with product managers, marketing teams, IT professionals, and various other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. This position should be able to handle a mix of globally focused projects aimed at driving customer engagement, conversion, retention, and loyalty as we look to create remarkable customer experiences, drive revenue growth, and support scale. Throughout, this position will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams that will define, build, deliver, and utilize innovative technologies in support of these goals. This position will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and their respective organizations to deliver growth and organizational maturity that scales to any challenge. Other responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead e-commerce projects from conception through activation, ensuring they meet established quality, time, and budget requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand upcoming feature releases and their impact on business operations for clear communications and alignment on how to drive growth by utilizing these new technologies.
  • Provide analysis that assesses project risks, forecasts potential outcomes, measures performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Work with cross-functional departments (Site Merchandising, Marketing, Brand Management, CRM, Performance Marketing, Creative, and others) to ensure each team understands their role in the successful activation of new features/functions of our technologies. Create clear Change Management based communications to ensure adoption of activation plans.

  • Utilize project management best practices to drive delivery, accountability, and timelines for feature adoption beyond just the technical releases. Oversee the end-to-end execution across parallel programs and cross-functional teams, including risk management, issue/conflict resolution and dependency management.


  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation strategies while monitoring progress diligently.

  • Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to review project progress against goals and address any issues proactively.

  • Drive adoption of new features or systems by coordinating training and briefing sessions for team members as well as crafting communication materials that explain benefits and usage to end users.


  • In partnership with the Product Management Team, create a multi-year roadmap and delivery plan, track progress and financial performance, and manage communication with partners, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across different departments to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.


About you:


  • Experience driving innovation and deployment through eCommerce end-to-end processes through platforms like SFCC and Shopify (and their related partner ecosystems).

  • Experience working with outsourced Development partners in a Hybrid Agile environment.

  • Successful track record of removing barriers to the benefit of the customer.

  • Proven knowledge of project management processes, systems development methods, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement methods.

  • Proficient in business process flow diagramming.

  • Ability to gather requirements, assess stakeholders, and define KPI's.

  • Experience as process owner with Agile/ Hybrid Agile project methodology.

  • Positive can-do attitude in high-growth environments

  • Effective communicator


Qualifications & Experience


  • 7-9 years' experience driving and creating technology focused program portfolios and projects in the CPG space.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management Information Systems or related field; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Solid experience in e-commerce project management coupled with proven expertise in business analysis techniques.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms' functionalities and how they contribute to achieving business goals.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Experience using ALM/SDLC tools like JIRA and Confluence for both internal and external team benefit.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or equivalent.

  • Interest in Beauty a Plus!
