Product Manager – II

Why?Lytx:?

We are looking for a Product Manager II to help accelerate our industry leading Driver Safety/Fleet Management Software.? Our products manage massive amounts of data collected from over 600,000 vehicles worldwide.? We use data and video to derive intelligent insights using Video Telematics, Machine Vision and AI for all devices and vehicles on the network.? In this role you will help drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Lytx's video telematics cloud technology line of business. We drive engagement with customers, internal partners, and engineering teams to identify market opportunities to secure and align product portfolio investments. Doesn’t that sound exciting?

You’ll Get To:

  • Rapidly prototype, deploy and test new solutions within our market.

  • Help develop and manage the ongoing product roadmap, communicating and aligning with business vision internally.

  • Work with a team of product managers, technical writers, and product designers to implement products and strategies.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to gather requirements for future releases and feedback on current releases.

  • Discover and validate market opportunities, analyze the competitive landscape, and make data driven decisions.

  • Understand how customers and users leverage platforms to streamline their business processes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with cloud services (API) and IOT and/or hardware/cloud solutions.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate customer needs and market insights into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong customer orientation and proven experience building products that meet customer needs and organizational goals.

  • Passion for innovation, technology, and making a positive impact on society using IoT and cloud-based solutions.

  • Knowledge of lean software development lifecycle process and methodologies.

  • Experience working in the transportation, logistics, or automotive after-market industry is a definite plus.

Must have:

You must have at least one of the following to be shortlisted.

  • Strong understanding of REST API suite design principles and best practices, with experience designing, implementing, and managing APIs for cloud-based applications and services.

  • Proven track record of successfully integrating third-party applications and services into cloud based IoT platforms, leveraging APIs, web-hooks, and middleware solutions.

  • Experience in cloud migration of applications from on-prem to AWS by redesigning them to take advantage of native cloud services, architectures, and other advantages.

  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, IoT architectures, and scalable, distributed systems, with hands-on experience working with leading cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Demonstrated expertise in fleet management integrations, including integrating IoT solutions with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, transport management systems (TMS) platforms or similar software.

  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based IoT solutions, including data encryption, access controls, and regulatory certifications (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
