We are currently growing our Governance Risk and Compliance team in order to protect and scale our enterprise Third Party security program as well as meet ongoing security compliance and assurance requirements.

This Role:

The Principal, GRC Analyst is responsible for supporting the security assessments, continuous monitoring, and audits of critical and high-risk third-party partnerships, helping drive program effectiveness and visibility throughout the company. This includes managing and executing the third-party cyber risk assessment process, from initial third-party intake through tracking and remediation of technical, monitoring and management of contractual issues resulting from vendor and supplier relationships.

You will be required to interact with multiple departments across the company, including D&B's external partners, presenting yourself as a trusted partner in D&B's security department. You will also work with key stakeholders throughout the company, including Contracts, Vendor Management, Enterprise IT Risk, Legal, and Privacy teams to improve existing work processes related to third parties, as necessary.

The Principal, Third Party GRC Analyst will help drive the transformation of D&B's TPRM program by supporting the execution of internal and external assessments, respond to and manage the complete lifecycle of compliance audits and ensure third party compliance with existing and emerging regulations and standards including SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, and other D&B third-party security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct information security reviews of business partners and third parties using questionnaires and virtual/remote or onsite assessments.
  • Identify information security deficiencies or risks at third parties, provide escalation paths for information security issues, incidents, and inquiries.
  • Administer and manage the distribution of due diligence questionnaires to the suppliers, review submitted questionnaires for completeness, ensure Risk stakeholders finalize reviews and determine overall residual risk rating.
  • Review and negotiate client and vendor security exhibits in contracts identifying and making sure that requirements are properly addressed by D&B and its vendors.
  • Prepare security assessment reports including third-party background, assessment scope, and results.
  • Maintain compliance and lead audits for customer-facing and Critical/High risk third parties and address complex challenges related to audits, risk management, 3rd party risk, supplier risk, vendor risk, and customer security programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-company teams such as sales, legal & privacy, product engineering, security, sales-ops, and solutions engineering to build robust and comprehensive third-party security compliance and monitoring processes.
  • Manage a consistently growing portfolio of vendors to help maintain visibility into the risk landscape of the organization's most critical third parties.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities to enhance and streamline D&B's TPRM processes.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed procedural documents and ensure alignment of TPRM with applicable regulatory requirements globally.
  • Monitor, Triage, and support investigations of 3rd party Breaches
  • Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience in Information Cyber Security, Third Party Risk Management and Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • 7-10 years of experience in Third-Party IT Security Risk Management & Monitoring
  • 3-5 Years of Third-party Auditing experience
  • 3-5 Years experience with Security Assurance and Client Audit Response
  • Internal Use Only
  • Knowledge, experience with ServiceNow TPRM and IRM highly desired
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Strongly preferred.
  • CISA and/or CTPRP (Certified Third-Party Risk Professional) is a plus.
  • Experience with 3rd party risk intelligence tools (Bitsight, Security Scorecard etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of industry security frameworks including related regulatory compliance requirements (ITL4, ISO27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-161, PCI, GDPR, etc.)
  • Ability to work well under pressure, independently and collaboratively: responsiveness, accuracy, and sense of urgency are essential to this role.
  • A team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity policies, controls, standards, and best practices
  • Familiarity with various enterprise SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP and the concepts of modern software engineering practices/tools, databases, operating systems, secure network design, and other technology relevant to cybersecurity
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to successfully manage third party audits, gather evidence and coordinate audit response.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills capable of managing projects that drive business objectives.
