Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Penetrant Level 1 on 2nd Shift to join our Rancho Cucamonga team! They will be reporting to our NDT Supervisor at our aerospace foundry in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Set up and calibrate equipment such as FPI processing line, PSM-5 panels and backlights.
Conduct tests, interpret, evaluate and document data in accordance with codes, standards and other contractual documents.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities through the use of QVS tools such as Systematic Problem Solving, Process Management, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred; 16 hours of documented formal training in Penetrant Inspection. 130 hours of on-the-job training.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: LANGUAGE SKILLS - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, workstation documents and Internal Method Sheets (IMS). Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers and leadership. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, and volume. REASONING ABILITY - Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Hourly Rate: $20 - $24
