Responsibilities: 



  • The Store Manager sets the culture of Goodwill for the store, ensuring our team members have the skills and resources to do their best every day, and can implement retail best practices and organizational procedures.  

  • This position ensures we excel in customer service internally and externally, and will also monitor in-store processing and inventory, and optimize the processing of donated items for in-store use and on-going inventory to be shipped to the warehouse.  

  • The Store Manager schedules store employees to ensure adequate coverage and to meet production needs during all hours of operation, as well as ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cash controls on the cash register.  

  • Administrative duties include store reporting, bank deposits, performance appraisals, and other documentation needed for store management.  


Qualifications: 



  • A high school diploma/GED or in pursuit of a diploma or GED is required.  

  • Five years of full-time employment in a related field is required, including at least two years of direct supervisory experience.  


The Store Manager position has a starting salary of $42,195 annually and this position is also eligible for incentive pay based on store performance. Goodwill drives a strong reliability culture and the schedule will include a rotation of days, evenings, and weekends. In order to provide the best leadership, this position will require work every other weekend, at least one evening shift, and one mid-shift per week. Candidates must have weekend availability.
