Production Planning IT Lead

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 
As a Production Planning IT Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: 

• Implementing IT systems and tools for production planning, guiding the development process from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives 


• Leading the implementation of cutting-edge IT systems and tools, leveraging your expertise to seamlessly integrate advanced solutions into production planning processes, driving operational excellence and enhancing overall efficiency 


• Determining the strategic direction of IT solutions for production planning, leveraging your expertise to identify innovative approaches and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness 


• Providing ongoing support for SAP PP, addressing user issues and resolving system errors and technical issues.  You will provide essential support to stakeholders across various departments, offering technical expertise, troubleshooting assistance, and training to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of production planning IT systems. 


• Willing to be on-call to provide support outside of regular business hours, ensuring prompt resolution of any critical issues that may arise with production planning systems 

Your Skills and Expertise   
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)  


• Ten (10) years of experience with SAP ECC Production Planning in a private, public, government or military environment  

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Master's degree in computer science or supply chain management from an accredited institution 


• Five (5) years of functional/technical experience in APO PPDS in a private, public, government or military environment  

Work location:  

• 
  Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid) 

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international 

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized 

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). 

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $133,435 - $163,088, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
