This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Responsibilities:

• Architect custom solutions of project and program or operational scope.


• Architect reusable solutions of project or operational scope.


• Customize reusable solutions of project and program or operational scope.


• Capture and share architectural IP at the project and program level.


• Oversee the implementation and governance of architectures of project and program or operational scope.


• Contribute to the Architect profession worldwide and across the company businesses.


• Develop for client technically feasible long-term IT strategies and plans .


• Assess business impact of specific technologies/strategies .


• Identify and address technical or operational risks.


• Provide review/input on project activities for medium to large business unit level projects .


• Collaborates with the project manager to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for medium to large business unit level projects.


• Develop and deliver sales presentations at CEO/Executive Staff/CIO levels for medium to large opportunities (R) .

Essential Experience/Skills:

• At least 10 years of telecommunication industry experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.


• At least 5+ years of experience in telecoms signaling solutions .
  


• Expert knowledge of Telecommunications protocols, e.g., SIP, SS7, Diameter & Camel
  


• Knowledge/demonstrated understanding of PSTN, Mobile networks.
  


• Secondary skills: UNIX/Linux , Kubernetes.
  


• Familiar with multiple architectural, development and operational methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, ITSM, ...) .


• Customer interaction to promote customer-oriented responsiveness.


• Bachelor's degree preferred or associated degree holder (technical field) with 6- 8years working experience in related fields desired.


• Analytical problem-solving skills


• Problem reproduction skills on lab setup


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills achieving personal and group productivity through networking and teamwork.


• Microsoft Office tools end-user knowledge, for technical writing and reports


• Mission Critical and ITIL certifications.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S. -based hire filling this position is provided below. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
