The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Lead/coordinate regulatory operations systems and master data support; organizational subject matter expert

  • Lead connection with IT to represent regulatory needs for systems as required; represent design requirements for system

  • Provide support and expertise as part of the Regulatory organization using knowledge of Global regulatory systems requirements and paths to support achievement of business objectives.

  • Prepare Technical and Regulatory documentation for Consumer Health products

  • Own and update regulatory master data as required

  • Assure that device listings, import licenses, establishment licenses, and registrations for Consumer Health products are accurate and up to date 

  • Advise on new regulatory requirements impacting systems and regulatory operations

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

  • Three (3) years of combined experience in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Systems, or regulated R&D in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Master's degree in from an accredited institution

  • Medical Device Regulatory Affairs experience with FDA

  • EU MDR experience

  • Regulatory operations experience and process/systems understanding

  • International regulatory experience

  • Consumer experience

  • IT, master data, or system experience (e.g. SAP, data syndication tools, agency databases, etc.)

  • Ability to interface with regulatory agencies and support audits

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools

Work location:


  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood)

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $115,607 - $141,298, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
