This is an ONSITE position in Frederick, MD.



  • Manages talent pipelines by assessing talent, developing succession plans, and implementing talent programs. Analyzes talent data, tools, and systems to diagnose gaps and identify trends affecting the workforce. Provides resources for talent and workforce development. Supports mentorship programs. Leverages talent to create career advancement opportunities and increase associate retention.


  • Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to develop, communicate, and execute People strategies and action plans to satisfy business needs. Assesses and applies data from numerous sources to guarantee accuracy. Tracks plan progress and outcomes. Identifies and addresses process improvement opportunities. Leads and promotes the use of technology and digital solutions by utilizing and sharing resources, information, and tools, as well as modeling and guiding associates with the implementation of new ways of working.


  • Supports and advocates for associates by modeling Walmart's core values. Encourages team members to lead by example and act with integrity. Resolves and reports any People process breakdowns or issues.


  • Identifies customer and operational needs by developing and communicating business goals and priorities. Identifies barriers and hurdles that impact plan execution. Provides guidance and training resources. Measures plan progress and performance. Establishes contingency plans.


  • Owns the talent acquisition strategy for an assigned facility, which includes responsibility for planning, communicating, and delivering recruitment strategies to attract and retain a competent and motivated team. Understands, gathers, and actively listens to business requirements, skills needed, and market changes to find a varied pool of candidates. Manages recruiting processes and advises the business on potential converts. Conducts interviews, shortlists, and feedback; providing a clear point of view on talent prospects, candidate fit, and bargaining power. Negotiates the best possible results and drives win-win outcomes for business and candidates. Identifies process gaps and recommends solutions that increase process efficiencies.


  • Leads the execution of scheduling within an assigned facility by evaluating and analyzing scheduling and staffing data to convert into appropriate actions to improve scheduling performance. Drives the Workforce Management strategy to improve associate experiences, retention, and business performance.


  • Manages hourly talent review activities by coordinating talent programs and initiatives (for example, quarterly discussions, performance and talent calibration procedures, and annual talent reviews) with the objective of identifying talent gaps, probable attrition, and high potential talent in an assigned area. Integrates data from talent review meetings into recruitment and workforce planning strategies and initiatives. Adjusts the workforce plan as needed.


  • Oversees the execution of People practices, systems, programs, and policies by ensuring the consistent application of policies and programs. Compares program results and performance to defined success measures and company objectives. Directs managers and team members in the execution of People initiatives. Identifies and addresses execution and communication gaps and creates action plans to resolve.


  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports Walmart's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Uses the Open Door Policy.


  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.


  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.


  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.





Work Shift: Must have flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Oprion1: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related area.


  • Option 2: Associate's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 1 year's supervisory or human resource experience.


  • Option 3: 2 years' supervisory or human resource experience.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • 3 years' experience HR generalist experience


  • Management experience in human resources.


  • HRCI or SHRM HR Professional certification


  • Have worked in Retail, Manufacturing or Warehouse


  • Project management experience

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
