Position Summary

This position is a member of the Strategy & Analytics Team supporting the analytics agenda across Constellation Brands Beer and Wine & Spirits portfolios.The Sr Analyst will be responsible for interpretation of consumer, industry, and performance trends to provide “one source of truth” guidance on the drivers of in-market performance.Key responsibilities for this role include analysis of business performance leveraging depletions, scanner, and consumer panel data with analytical methodologies.  The position requires a high level of collaboration and communication with internal and external business partners.  These efforts will result in actionable insights and implications that will continue to propel Constellation’s iconic beer, wine, and spirits brands to outperform the industry.

Responsibilities



  • Provide holistic, “one source of truth”, understanding of business performance through development of storylines that supports internal and external communication





  • Translates results from advanced analytic modeling and analyses into insights and actionable recommendations




  • Contributes to the development of category projections, identifying growth areas that provide risks and opportunities to CBI’s growth aspirations.




  • Partners with Investor Relations and Communications to bring insights and thought leadership to external communication initiatives




  • Supports development of new analytical capabilities and best practices, exploring new methodologies, frameworks and data sources




  • Prepares presentations for communications with Division Leadership Teams and key Distributor and Retailer partners.




  • Participates in training and development opportunities related to Strategy & Analytics



Reporting Relationship

This position reports directly to the Manager of Analytics.

Qualifications

This position requires:



  • 5+ years of experience in an analytic position, preferably in the Alcohol Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods.




  • Strong understanding of syndicated data with ability to perform complex quantitative analysis of scanner, panel and depletions data.




  • Expertise in translating results from advanced analytic modeling and analyses into insights and actionable recommendations.




  • Experience designing persuasive and concise learning for multiple constituents internally (brand partners, other functions) and externally (retailers, distributor partners, etc.).




  • Highly motivated, results oriented individual with strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills who excels in dynamic environment




  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make ongoing decisions.  Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals.




  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences, and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions.




  • High degree of critical thinking and flexibility.




  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA Preferred), and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.




  • Passionate for driving insights and applying to the fast-moving alcohol industry.

The salary range for this role is:


$92,500.00 - $141,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
