Job Description:

We're searching for a Health Promotion Specialist, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will develop and implement engaging interdisciplinary wellness programs to promote and enhance individual and community workforce holistic health and well-being around the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and professional dimension of workforce well-being, so our workforce members can be their best selves, personally and professionally. This may include nutrition, physical activity, weight management health promotion and prevention campaigns, and related programs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Wellness Program Design and Implementation
  • Develop and implement workforce wellness programs based on evidence-based strategies, best practice examples, sound literature, creative and innovative ideas, and internal research and experts.
  • Implement annual strategic wellness program plan in alignment with Human Resources and Workforce Well-Being goals and services.
  • Present information and lead discussion on health-related topics in community, group, and one-on-one settings, including methods to assist the workforce with healthy lifestyle changes.
  • Maximize Program Engagement.
  • Foster an organizational culture of health and well-being.
  • Program Analysis and Outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned to support Workforce Health & Well-Being Initiatives.
Skills & Requirements

  • Required bachelor's degree Nutrition, Health Promotion, Public Health, Health Communication, Social Work Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy or Counseling
  • Required 2 years' experience in corporate wellness, health promotion, health education, chronic condition management, or weight/nutritional counseling
  • CHES or MCHES from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing preferred
  • A Master's in one of the fields of study defined in the Education section above may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
  • Presentation skills highly preferred
  • Spanish speaking preferred
