Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet production goals and quality standards
Monitor equipment operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure proper performance
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal working condition
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times
Maintain accurate production records and reports as required
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the manufacturing operation
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in a metals manufacturing environment
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery and processes quickly
Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed to meet production demands
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to manufacturing operations
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors
