Senior Director, Operational Excellence

Role Responsibilities
Oversee the health, depth, and breadth of the Global Operational Excellence program.
Define and implement the TRACC strategy for manufacturing, including assessment and development planning.
Provide strategic insight on Problem Solving, Six Sigma, and Profit Improvement Project programs.
Develop expertise in facilitating TRACC, TPM, and Best Practices within these programs.
Ensure strict adherence to TRACC and other standards across sites, with a disciplined Proof of Evidence process.
Partner with all Operational Unit (OU) leaders to implement the optimal organizational design for Operational Excellence locally, providing specific consulting advice as needed.
Organize networking events and kaizen forums to celebrate success, and manage interface with Suntory for Continuous Improvement Best Practices.
Act as a catalyst for change and foster collaboration across all sites.
Identify reapplication opportunities and best practices.
Coach and guide site Operational Excellence leaders, fostering an active cross-site team.
Monitor global progress of defined processes including Profit Improvement Projects, adherence to line launch schedule, Reduction in Changeover (CO) time, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) improvement, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE2) improvement, centerline compliance, etc.
Define skills and capability needs to meet site and function deliverables.
Ensure critical adherence to TRACC across all lines and processes, with key metrics.
Coach, direct, and train personnel in utilizing available tools.
Identify major risks and roadblocks, coordinate with the central team and Op Ex managers for implementation consistency.
Facilitate plant leadership in developing a Compelling Business Need (CBN), including analysis of historical performance and setting of forward-looking stretch goals.
Own global processes and systems including 5-year and annual master planning.
Comply with all legal and ethical standards in managing people, assets, suppliers, and third parties.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, technical field, or similar preferred.
Certifications/Licensure: 6σ Black Belt, LEAN (preferably TRACC), TPM.
Years of experience: Minimum of 8 -10 years in operational roles with increasing responsibility.
Proven experience in 6 Sigma (DMAIC, Kaizen) and Operational Excellence programs (Lean, TPM), having implemented a pillar framework in a multi-site environment.
Demonstrated inclusive and collaborative working style, capable of thriving in matrix organizations and maintaining high standards and execution discipline.
