• Classification: Full Time.

• Shift: AM/PM - Various. Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Room Attendant , you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and cleaning products.
  • Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting heavy bedspreads.
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
  • Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
  • Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
  • Perform guest turn down service, as needed.
  • Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.


  • Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, as well as guests.
  • Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines, including the thorough cleaning of rooms as specified by management.
  • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests.

Hourly Rate: $18.45

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE

1 year previous housekeeping experience preferred.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.

GROOMING

All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
