Overview

The Clinical Training Manager will support the development, delivery, and reinforcement of innovative training programs to employees and customers that match the goals of clinical education for assigned Vascular programs, as well as, align with the Division's product portfolio to help our customers provide best patient outcomes and position Cook Medical as the most recommended educational resource.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leaders within the Division, company function and operational units to implement and ensure accuracy of content and consistency in global clinical training priorities, processes, and structure

• Support the structure for internal and external clinical education and professional development within the assigned region to allow for global direction and alignment across programs, while accommodating for local and regional regulations and needs

• Consistently collaborate with the Vascular Training Team to establish, measure, and meet training and development plan goals for the region, as well as assist with training documentation as needed

• Continuously support the strategy for regional clinical training program by monitoring metrics and listening to feedback from customers and employees. Take action and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively

• Assist in the development of annual activity/budget projections

• Assist in managing calendar of educational events within assigned region to ensure structure and alignment with Division goals

• Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, criteria and qualifications for attendees, trainers, and programs

• Support oversight of the Healthcare Professional Management System along with implementation and management of process and policies

• Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies

• Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met

Qualifications

• College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience

• Extensive experience leading training programs in the medical device industry

• Demonstrate strong strategic business skills

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills

• Extensive experience in a clinical or sales training environment

• Prior experience leading organizational change

• Knowledge in training documentation systems/methods

• Knowledge in adult learning theories including assessments and competency based trainings

• Model the company standards that others are expected to follow

• Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives

• Must have effective oral and written communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel domestically and weekends as needed up to 75%

• Work under general office environmental conditions
