As the Associate Director of Global Trade Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the success of our brand and products in our key channels, resellers and distributors. Your role will play a critical part in shaping our brand and demand generation plans that will deliver outperformance by winning market share vs the competition. You will partner with sales in ensuring the financial goals attainment and leveraging the appropriate marketing levers that will drive profitable growth.

This position is responsible for building both the strategic and operational foundations that will make the Global Trade Marketing Team a critical competitive asset to enable category and marketing thought leadership that will unlock disproportionate reseller support, preferred category champion status, and a key engine of growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Design :

Partner with Insights and Analytics team to identify the key insights that will shape the channel, category, and reseller specific GTM and Demand Generation levers.

Leverage these insights to inform and lead the design of key GTM Strategic Pillars such as:


  • Identification and Prioritization of the Key Business Drivers (KBDs) - by Market, by Channel, by Reseller.

  • Translation of said KBDs into specific BDF (Business Dev. Funds) strategy, guidelines and policies.

  • Definition of the optimal investment strategy that will best inform our Joint Business Plans and Vendor Agreements.

Go-To-Market:

Define Where to Play, How to Win that will inform key investment choices for


  • The Omnichannel Marketing Mix Playbook within the resellers' owned and operated channels and touchpoints.

  • The Reseller's programming / activations opportunities that have the highest ROI , incr Gross Margin or M/S Growth potential.


Craft the Annual Trade Marketing Playbook that will set forth the priorities and guidance for:

  • Annual Activation Model that defines the activation parameters for the 4P in compliance with the company-wide pre-determined strategy in partnership with the Business Planning and Product Marketing teams.

  • NPD Launch Strategy that delivers on the 4P strategy and maximize the brand launch plan for maximum reseller support

  • Leading the ideation and creation of Business Development Initiatives (BDIs) in partnership with Sales, Product and Shopper Marketing.

Planning:

Lead for each key reseller the annual planning process that will deliver on:


  • Achieving and Surpassing the Revenue, Gross Margin and Market Share Targets

  • The optimal implementation of the marketing budget that will deliver within ROI - ROAS - RPM targets whilst focusing on the marketing activities most correlated to the priority KBDs.

  • The strategic selling plan supported by right toolkits and playbooks that will win maximum and preferential support from our trade partners

  • A consistent balance of the 3C: The Company , The Category, The Customer.

Operations and Performance delivery:


  • Ensure the performance attainment against the forecast and targets.

  • Review, Challenge and Commit to Annual, Launches, Programs Monthly forecasts.

  • Ensure clear lines of communications and alignment between the wider marketing organization and sales.

  • Accountable to performance management reporting: i.e., new item performance tracking, monthly business review insights and implications

  • Bring relevant commercial and product development actions via applicable market/consumer insights

  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Paid Media, and Sales teams on customer level retail media plans, flighting, and creative asset

  • Flawless launch of newness including 360 campaigns with above the line and below the line. Maximize the execution of the promotional support for the portfolio.

  • Develop complete programs (offers and in-store) and wrap up key promotional periods with performance analysis and key learning to maximize future executions.

  • Deliver efficiencies by having dedicated member to evaluate retailer programs ROI, trade lifts and sell through analysis

  • Communicate after-program results to improve short-and long-term forecast accuracy and product lifecycle

Build and Deliver Organizational Vision:

Leading a team of 12+ people across different geographies , shape Trade Marketing into a world class organization that will play a key function in Defining, Designing and Delivering the go to market strategy for our consumer electronics portfolio in the markets.
