Job Description:

General Purpose
The Program Supervisor performs responsible administrative and clinical supervisory work in the coordination of program services, quality assurance and professional services.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for administrative and clinical supervision appropriate for the officeResponsible for problem-solving issues with other services to support programsResponsible for adherence to system-wide quality assurance monitoring programProvides leadership in strengthening internal communicationsCreates and promotes a positive and supportive work environmentProvides clinical consultation including review of ethical issuesEstablishes, implements, and evaluates policy, procedure and program contentPrepares, reviews, and administers program budgetsSelects, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and directs assigned program staffRoutinely conducts quality assurance activities through reviews, meetings, reports and observation of results, according to professional practice standards and regulatory complianceEvaluates and monitors program needs, identifies unmet needs and revise services neededProvides organization, direction and staffing according to the scope of services providedOrganizes and coordinates system-wide projects. Plans and consults with others as necessaryWrites reports, policies and procedures, as indicatedProblem-solves issues with other services, as indicatedConducts in-service trainingParticipates in and conduct meetings, as necessaryParticipates in fire drills, disaster evacuations and other safety-related activitiesMaintains prompt and regular attendancePerforms other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Excellent leadership and management skillsKnowledge of program services, client needs and management techniquesKnowledge and awareness of state and federal requirements and codes governing treatmentPossesses strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to operate computers and relevant software products related to the jobAbility to effectively communicate and present key data to management, board or partnersPossesses personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to organizations mission
Education or Formal Training:
Master's Degree in clinical field, consistent with the nature of the program that is being supervisedColorado license required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).Dual licensed as LAC preferred; or working towards SUD licensure.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience working in behavioral health, health care or human services including management experienceExperience with federal/state and administrative requirements

Working Conditions and Other Conditions of Employment
Working Environment:
This job operates in a fast-paced, professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The position may require travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations on a regular or intermittent basis. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. In the health center environment, there is potential for contact with blood-borne pathogens and communicable diseases, as well as potential for contact with dissatisfied or abusive individuals. There could be interaction with persons who are mentally ill, disabled, elderly and emotionally upset.
Physical Activities:
These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role but can involve standing or sitting for extended periods of time, bending at the waist, and using hands and fingers to handle and file papers or operate assigned equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee may also have to lift 10 to 25 lbs. unassisted.
