The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning activities as it relates to Safe Harbor Marinas houseboats and/or lodging. The Housekeepers title may be specific to their trade and titled as such (Housekeeper (Boat Rental), Housekeeper (Lodging), etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain, clean and sanitize laundry room, restrooms and common area on propertySweep, vacuum, mop and scrub the facility floorsDust furniture and fixturesOperate a golf cartUpkeep of houseboats, cabins and propertyCollect and dispose of trashRestock restrooms, linen rooms and common areas when appropriateNotify manager of any necessary repairsAvailable to work overtime when requiredOther duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area. Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.

Technical and Physical Requirements
Customer service experience preferredPrevious marina experience a plusAbility to stand for long periods of time with continual bending, reaching, lifting, stooping, sitting, and repetitive motionAbility to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guestsAbility to work with common cleaning suppliesAbility to lift 25 pounds
