Job Overview:
The Returns Coordinator is responsible for inspecting product and correctly issuing credit to customers for all returned merchandise to the warehouse. This position will work Monday-Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Expectations:
Inspect all returns and issue proper credit to customers.Handle all recalled product returned and credits according to guidelines and protocol outlined by the Recall team, including segregation and disposal of product.Communicate daily with Accounting on returns/credits from the previous day that need clarification.Communicate with Merchandising, Inventory, and Sales on any return credits/issues.Maintain a clean dock area.

Job Duties:
Issue proper credit for all items returned.Check-in morning returns from shuttles and late drivers.Clean the dock and maintain a clean dock throughout each day. Stack pallets and place in designated areas, empty shrink wrap bins, and compact cardboard. Sweep and empty trash as needed.Check in driver returns, verify credits with the driver, credit with correct codes, and inspect product for restocking.Maintain HQ credits and authorizations.Communicate effectively on credit problems/return problems with Merchandising and Sales.Communicate effectively with the Inventory staff on inventory issues.Slot returned items that do not have a pick slot to the correct designated areas.Properly handle and communicate all recall returned products/credits.Use the correct return code to credit invoices and authorizations.Relay required information to Warehouse Shipping, Inventory, and Management on mis-picks, buried in loads, and not on trucks.Help with inventory functions as needed and as time allows.Maintain a positive relationship with all departments within the company.Follow all safety rules and requirements of the warehouse.Read and follow company policy.
