ThePharmacist In Charge will ensure the adherence of the pharmacy procedures and SOPs. In accordance with company laws, state and federal regulations. The Pharmacist In Charge will ensure regulations are correct and safe supply of medical products to the client facilities, under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Operations.

Pharmacist In Charge Responsibilities:
Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions and proper administrationMaintain dispense medications are correctly supplied and labeledMake recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and client facilities staff, if necessaryMaintain customers database including but not limited to medical history, clinical, laboratory data, etcInvestigate and resolve medication-related queriesCommunicate with facilities nursing staff, physicians and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queriesSupervise the preparation of any medicinesMaintain a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposesMaintain proper security conditions for medicationsPerform on-call duties when required
Pharmacist In Charge Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in the State of KY5-10 years of experience in Hospital and Retail pharmacy or other medical fieldsLong Term Care experience preferredStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsComputer skills
