Job Description:

SUMMARY: Faribault Foods is seeking an Integration Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical B2B and A2A integrations that keep our business running smoothly. This means using cloud-based integration platform(s) or other integration tools to integrate trading partner transactions (mostly EDI) with our SAP ERP system, controlling end-to-end automation processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, transport management, 3PL warehousing, and more. This position is also responsible for ensuring the seamless communication and data exchange between our various on-premise and cloud-based applications and solutions (A2A integrations), working with business teams to understand their needs, define solutions, and streamline processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.Perform a pivotal and leading role in the implementation of a new SaaS integration platform and migration of partner connections from our legacy EDI system to the new platform.Manage and support various integration processes including EDI transactions, A2A integrations, and API internal/external interfaces.Onboarding trading partners, writing requirements, mapping EDI/XML/IDOC/JSON document transactions, coordinating testing, production system validation, and support.Maintaining cross-reference tables.Monitoring data flows between disparate systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of file delivery and receipt.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, diagnose errors, and implement solutions to maintain system stability.Collaborate with developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to ensure integrations meet all functional and non-functional requirements.Document integration processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and maintenance.Stay up-to-date on the latest integration technologies and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in computer science or software engineer.At least 5-7 years of EDI mapping experience in an EDI production support environment.Exceptional proficiency in EDI ANSI X12 standards.Proficiency in AS2, FTP, SMTP, TCP/IP, VANs.Strong fundamental understanding of core manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, and shipping EDI transaction sets (204, 210, 215, 824, 940, 943, 944, 945, 997, 810, 850, 875, 865, 855, 860, 810, 880, 812).Experience with flat files, XML, web services, and SQL.Experience with API integrations using protocol and architecture such as, REST, SOAP, RPC.Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Able to learn new concepts and skills quickly.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Exhibit sound judgment and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.Must be flexible, adaptable to change, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Information:
Cleo Integration Cloud experience and/or certification is preferred, but not mandatory.Experience with IBM Sterling Gentran Server is a plus.Experience working in an SAP ECC 6 environment is a plus.
