Job Description:

Job Objectives: 

Underwrite both new and renewal Cyber, technology errors and omissions, privacy/security liability and miscellaneous E&O insurance business. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Analyze, evaluate and underwrite Cyber liability risks

·         Analyze, evaluate and underwrite errors and omissions for Technology risks

·         Develop and manage broker relationships

·         Analyze potential clients and present evaluations at daily group discussions

·         Assist group in meeting monthly and annual production goals

·         Attend appropriate training sessions and conferences when deemed appropriate

·         Assist with special projects as needed under supervision of management

·         Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships

·         Maintain existing broker relationships within assigned region

·         Manage more junior underwriters, as needed

·         Minimum of 5 year(s) of insurance industry experience required

·         Minimum of 5 years Cyber insurance experience required

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Management experience preferred

·         Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

·         Excellent marketing, negotiating and communication skills

·         Strong technical and marketing expertise

·         General computer and office suite skills

·         Willingness to travel 

Compensation 

 

The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards. 

 

$120,000 - $160,000
