The Director of Operations Initiatives and Strategy will be a direct report of the Head of Group Insurance Operations and will be responsible for driving outcomes relative to annual business strategies and defined roadmaps across Operations verticals. Critical components are not limited to but include the creation and execution of strategic roadmaps, metrics optimization, operational readiness, expense management, CX improvement, and talent management/ engagement. These areas of focus are critical enablers to our business strategy and require discipline, focus, and transparent reporting. This leader will drive accountability across the many strategic efforts underway that enable the delivery of our strategic objectives in a cohesive manner across Operations. While the role is highly strategic, tactical execution and effective dot connecting across the various functions within and outside of Operations will be essential skillsets for this role.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you’ll need:

• Three to five years of experience in strategy development, program management, and/or project execution roles, including experience in financial services




• Top notch initiative management discipline




• Ability to identify inter-dependencies




• Strong, interpersonal, organizational, and execution skills




• Proven verbal and written communication skills




• Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

It’d be a plus if you had:

• Expertise in Power BI




• Experience working in the insurance industry, group benefits a plus

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $148,800.00 to $201,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
