What You'll Do

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water truck by traveling to various locations within the Willamette Valley to water the gravel and dirt roads at our plant facilities. This includes the asphalt plant, concrete plant, and wash plant. You will also assist in the production of ecology blocks. The ideal candidate will show dedication to creating great customer service (both with internal and external customers), demonstrate the ability to work both independently and part of a team, and have the willingness and drive to learn any task.

Location: Corvallis. Must be willing to travel between sites as needed.

Wage: $23.55+/hr DOE w/ potential for overtime during our busy season.

Shift : Approx M-F, 5am-5pm. Hours may vary based on business demands.

What You Can Do (Minimum Qualifications)

• Must possess a valid Driver's License.


• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.


• Demonstrates good internal and external customer service, communication, and organizational skills.


• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.


• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.


• Demonstrates the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.


• Demonstrates the ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other company or state rules and regulations.


• Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, crushing, and/or related field.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report maintenance or repair issues.


• Water roads and plant facilities to control dust.


• May shovel excess materials from around conveyors and other areas generating frequent build-up.


• Perform general clean-up and maintenance as assigned.


• Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle. Investigate abnormalities. Complete written report of problems necessary repairs and forward to maintenance personnel. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to shop personnel. Perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.


• Maintain vehicle in a clean and orderly condition, inside and out. Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.


• Assist other departments in job related tasks.


• Assemble, pour, dissemble, and produce Ecology Blocks.


• Maintain cleanliness of batch plant/production site premises


• Perform other related duties as required or directed whenever necessary.
