Ensure the Corporate Ammonia PSM Program is implemented and maintained at this plant.
Leads Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Environmental and Safety staff to ensure that ammonia hazards are identified, risk is appropriately managed and the required 14 elements of the PSM regulation follow applicable regulations.
Interface with Business Unit leaders at the facility to ensure that ammonia hazards are identified, risk is appropriately managed and the required 14 elements of the PSM regulation follow applicable regulations.
Conducts regular PSM meetings to ensure plant wide understanding of the PSM program requirements.
Responsible for and directs reporting and regulatory compliance for EPA's Risk Management Plan (RMP).
Participates in PSM/RMP Compliance Audits, Process Hazard Analysis and Mechanical Integrity Inspections and leads all plant level follow-up activities.
Manages the Ammonia Emergency Action Plan and ensures all employees are trained in the event there is an ammonia related emergency.
Identifies ammonia refrigeration system and PSM capital needs and ensures appropriate PSM documentation and procedures are followed on all projects and all employees are trained on proper procedures.
Fills in for the Utilities Manger in their absence.
Work with the Corporate EHS and the Plant Management Team to develop a resource conservation implementation plan that reflects the Company's Sustainability Vision and leads to culture where resource conservation is a way of life.
Develop a communication Platform that promotes resource conservation at the Plant, motivate employees to achieve targets and promotes a Resource Conservation Culture.
Establish accurate benchmark data. Evaluate, develop, and refine resource conservation data accuracy, collection methods and reports.
Develop training tools to enable the plant to achieve the goals and engage employees.
Assist Utility Maintenance Manager as needed in supervising and follow up with contractors, work orders, pm's, and completion of tasks.
Assist in developing capital project documentation for PSM and other Utility related jobs.
Familiar with AutoCAD or Visio software

Experience-Education (Required):
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field OR combination of education and experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably food.
Knowledge of PSM, & Ammonia safety practices and processes.
Experience-Education (Preferred):
Prefer master's degree in related field.
The following certificates are preferred: PE, FET, CSP, ASP, CHMM, CEM, RETA CIRO or CARO
