Your Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up a side grinder performing a finish on part face by making several passes on each part.
• Loads machine, runs samples, checks parts for surface dimensions, close tolerances and flatness, and compares with print.
• Runs production: May make adjustments when parts do not meet specifications.
• Fills out and maintains SPC documentation.
• Performs maintenance on machine.
• 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Your Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Experience running machines
• Mechanical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Two plus years experience operating complex plant grinding machines
• Experience setting up machines or the equivalent formal technical education.
