About the Role

Essity North America is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager who will join our Global IT Services Infrastructure team, focusing on the Americas Region.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aligning regional infrastructure initiatives with the broader global strategy while working in close collaboration with the Infrastructure Managers based in the EU.

This individual will be responsible for driving and managing regional tasks, supporting the Global IT Operations team, assisting and managing projects, and leveraging the available regional resources to ensure seamless operations and effective project delivery.

The ideal candidate should live near Neenah, Wisconsin.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities:


  • Alignment with Global Infrastructure Strategy:

  • Work closely with the global Infrastructure team to understand and align with the infrastructure strategy.

  • Ensure that regional initiatives are in sync with global goals and standards.

  • Support and streamline IT Operations together with the Global IT Operations team

Loosely Coupled Collaboration:


  • Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the Americas Region, promoting a loosely coupled but highly aligned approach with the broader infrastructure management team.

  • Utilize available resources efficiently, utilizing the expertise of various infrastructure teams to accomplish regional tasks and projects.
     

Regional Task Management:


  •  Take ownership of regional infrastructure tasks and projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Act as a liaison between the Americas Region, EMEA, and APAC Infrastructure Managers to provide updates and seek guidance as needed.

Resource Optimization:


  • Effectively allocate and work with infrastructure resources across the Americas Region from the different Infrastructure teams, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with project requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for resource sharing and collaboration between the Americas, EMEA, and APAC teams when needed.

Risk & Security Mitigation:


  •  Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with regional infrastructure initiatives.

  •  Work actively to ensure that local initiatives are meeting the infrastructure standards.

Communication:


  • Provide regular updates to the global Infrastructure management team on the progress of regional tasks and projects.

  • Continue to foster transparent communication channels between the Americas Region, EMEA and APAC teams.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.

  • Past experience in infrastructure management within a global organization with enterprise deployments

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.

  • Familiarity with global infrastructure standards and best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of languages such as Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Expected Compensation
