JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Auto Tech Lead, you will oversee all major technical decisions for the Auto insurance product platform for Chubb's North America Small Business/Lower Middle Market group. Working with a team of senior engineers and technical leads, you will provide expertise and leadership for engineers working on development of the Auto product to drive development, implementation and efficiencies of Chubb's North America Small Business/Lower Middle Market Auto product. You will partner with business and technology leaders to ensure optimal outcomes and transparency. In furtherance of your objectives, we'll also look to you to partner across all layers of the technology stack from Duck Creek policy admin platform, front-end technologies inclusive of APIs and middleware. As such, deep knowledge of the Auto insurance product is required as well as architecture background, design thinking, thought leadership, change orientation, strong relationship management and effective communication capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Lead Auto product technology team to design and implement a new Auto insurance product, working with and influencing business leaders and enterprise technology leaders and line of business technology engineers
• Accountable for the quality of engineering deliverables from the relevant agile teams working on the Auto product and systems across the North America Small Business/Lower Middle Market group
• Build internal expertise within the North America Small Business/Lower Middle Market technology team on software engineering best practices and delivery
• Lead technical hiring for new members of the Auto product team within North America Small Business/Lower Middle Market group inclusive of US, India, and Mexico locations
• Prepare and deliver formal presentations on delivery status and recommendations for business and technology leadership
• Act as a change agent and SME for other engineers to become effective in an agile-based operating model
• Keep on top of industry technology trends, advancements and best practices
