What you will enjoy doing* (DUTIES)


  • Work alongside the Executive Leadership Team as well various regionaland corporate functions to identify and assess business and market developmentopportunities and initiatives to profitably grow Linde's existing/new marketsand businesses

  • Responsible for the annual corporate strategy process as wellas special projects for the CEO. Develop strong relationships with key teammembers throughout all levels of Linde including with senior management

  • Executekey projects and perform critical analysis for the CEO, Senior Management andBoard of Directors

  • Prepare and present strategic and financial analyses ofLinde's existing competencies, capabilities, and conduct market, competition,and trend analyses to identify new growth opportunities

  • Drive Linde'sgroup-wide annual strategy process in close collaboration with all businessunits (BUs) and Corporate Functions including Finance, R&D and IR

  • Supportpreparation and execution of management workshops. Identify, evaluate, andpresent business cases and plans for new business development opportunities andinitiatives


What makes you great (REQTS)


  • You musthave a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Economics,Accounting, Finance or a related quantitative field, plus five (5) years ofexperience in the position offered, or a related occupation

  • Must have five (5)years of experience in each of the following skills: Leadership and managementin a team environment, including setting and meeting goals, identifying priorities,organizing meetings with key stakeholders and management, managing projectstimelines, and producing quality deliverables on time; Engaging with seniorstakeholders and developing relationships with key team members to assess andappropriately enhance business plans

  • Assisting with strategic financial andnon-financial analysis, including year over year and sequential sales andoperating profit variance analysis, 5-year forecasting, operating profitanalysis, industry & market analysis, potential growth or expansion risksand opportunities, and business risk and mitigation analysis

  • Researching andanalyzing public information of key competitors, customers, and regulatorypolicies

  • You will be assisting in the preparation of presentation materials to senior management,including trend of the industry, business profitability, regulatory policies,risks and mitigations, and Board of Director updates; and Understanding andanalyzing drivers and/or deviations in trends in sales, profitability, cash andother non-financial KPIs

  • 20% domestic & international travel to Lindeoffices and worksites
