What You Will do

The BIFG Supply planner is responsible for balancing demand and capacity for third-party produced products by managing all operational tasks connected to mid and long-term planning with the objective to safeguard product availability to secure service level with the optimal costs.

Responsibilities:


  • Establish a super user network to further develop the template solution

  • Use SAP to prepare orders and forward forecasts for a portfolio of Global suppliers

  • Prepare data for Vendor Logistics reviews and hold both supplier and Essity accountable for driving improvements to supplier scorecard results

  • Use strong problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve service issues to deliver expected internal KPI results

  • Provide information and contribute to PIPO activities and projects, especially relating to master data management and slow moving / obsolete management

  • Interface with outsourcing partners for warehousing and transports

  • Contribute to the fulfilment of KPI’s set for Supply Service e.g. CSL root cause analysis, order completeness, Slow/non-moving

  • Complaint handling and resulting communications with Customer Service

  • Be a champion of continuous improvement by embedding PLEX tools and processes into the way of working e.g. quarterly safety stock review.

Who You Are


  • University degree or equivalent in Business Management, Supply chain, Logistics or similar

  • related field

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics

  • Strong analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Proficient at MS Office (strong Excel skills)

  • ERP system experience is an advantage (SAP desired)

  • Excellent communication skills
    Fluent English skills

  • Capable of working in a matrix organization, driving collaboration across businesses and functions with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines and multi-task daily activities

  • Driving attitude to achieve desired goals
