Quality Sanitation Coordinator

The Quality Sanitation Coordinator position supports plant operations and supports both Quality and Sanitation functional responsibilities. Is expected to successfully work in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple demands and balance priorities. Efficiently processes workload and is flexible to assist others.

Location: Tulare, CA

Pay: $26.87 per hour

Shift: This is a 24/7 location. Role may include days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Sanitary Micro sampling according to SOP- Follow schedule and collect samples from various locations throughout the plant.


• Assist in obtaining product samples upon request.


• Conduct routine GMP inspections of plants and communication to cross functional team (includes entire evaporator/dryer rooms).


• Inspect equipment cleanliness and verify readiness for production (entry into silos, evaporators, dryers required).


• Train and work with employees performing sanitation and/or cleaning duties.


• Verify CIP functions/practices. Perform post CIP equipment inspections and micro swabbing.


• Maintain accurate and up to date records of pest control inspections. Work with outside contracted pest control vendor on weekly audits.


• Support cross functional business partners (Operations/Maintenance) on a routine basis.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Responsible to adhere to LOL EQMS system requirements.


• Support customer and 3rd party inspections when requested.


• Verify and sign-off on completion of quality records as requested.


• Support employee Quality/Sanitation training to plant personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).


• Aseptic Sampling Techniques, Basic Sanitation Knowledge


• Knowledge of legal requirements and operations of plant food safety preventive control programs.


• Requires at least an Associates Degree (or equivalent) or comparable experience in the Dairy Laboratory testing in (5) out of the (10) years
