You will be a key member of Medtronic's RPM (Released Product Management) PMO team, developing and governing business processes to support the design oversight of Medtronic's Surgical Operating Unit. As a Project Manager, you will be an integral part of standardizing processes and defining the process steps to take our organization to the next level.

This position reports to PD PMO Manager in our Released Project Management PMO. This position will be hybrid, partially on-site in North Haven (CT), Boston (MA), or Lafayette (CO.)

A Day in the Life
• Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
• Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.\
You will:
• Be a central point of contact for RPM KTBR (Keep the Business Running) priorities
• Govern and standardize RPM KTBR Processes; this includes creating/implementing new business processes and optimizing/enhancing processes in place
• Generate reports and analysis as needed to communicate to leadership and key stakeholders
• Collaborate to manage and create dashboards to report RPM KPI's
• Track and monitor KTBR resources and finances
• Manage and monitor urgent issues, escalation pathways and project risks

Must Haves
• Bachelor's degree

• Enthusiasm to learn and collaborate within a matrix organization
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross disciplinary environment
• Ability to discuss technical details with engineering staff
• Ability to consistently push for results for self and others
• Proficiency in excel
• Experience with highly regulated and/or safety-critical systems (medical device experience preferred)
• Familiarity with MDT change control processes (CDP's and SCR's)
• Experience with various project management tools (e.g. Jira, ProChain, Smartsheet, Agile)
• DRM training and/or certification

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
